Paul Wheldon, Driving Creativity

Paul has been designing and building websites for 7 years since graduating with a Degree in Graphic Design in 2001. Growing an enviable reputation as a freelance website specialist before setting up e-Ignition, he established a wide client base of over 75 UK SME customers. With a passion for website usability, web standards, schematic XHTML mark-up and server side programming languages, Paul is one of a rare breed of hybrid web developers to successfully integrate artistic design expertise with high levels of technical capability.

Keith Pearson, Directing Programmes

With 10 years experience as an Information Systems Engineering Officer in the Royal Air Force, since 2003 Keith has been running the Business Development, Marketing and Programme Management elements of his own IT solutions company. Keith brings to your Project a wealth of expertise in the design, development, deployment and management of Information Systems. Holding an MBA as well as an MSc in Advanced Information Systems, Keith combines theoretical best practice with an insightful approach to modern business to ensure that e-Ignition designs and develops a website that is consistent with your business strategy. Keith is a qualified Prince 2 practitioner, as well as a member of the Association of Project Managers and British Computer Society.

Matthew Overton, Underpinning Implementations

After completing a BEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering at Lancaster University, Matt was involved in the design, support and maintenance of complex IT systems in the Rail (Network Rail) and Telecommunications (Nortel) industries for over 10 years. His role as an IT Project Manager included on-site change management supporting clients in the transition to radical new IT systems. He has since developed and managed the implementation of e-Ignition’s award-winning Keswick based support services organisation. The constantly evolving nature of our IT software and systems has compelled Matt to stay abreast of new technologies while maintaining an in-depth understanding of how those changes affect the problems experienced by our customers. Matt is also a full member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

Mark Wheldon, Directing Development

Mark studied for a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design before working for 5 years as a Creative Developer with an award-winning multimedia agency. In those 5 years Mark developed and refined his abilities through exposure to a wide range of emerging technologies including Touchscreen/Kiosk creation, DVD Authoring, 3D rendering, video editing and post production. Incorporating all of this into a continual drive for exceptional website design and personal development, Mark was called upon to teach Web Development on an undergraduate programme before moving relocating to begin his career with e-Ignition.

Duncan Overton, Managing Business Opportunities

With many years of experience in large scale technical training projects at senior officer level within the Royal Air Force, Duncan has been involved in major IT implementation projects since the days when hard drives had diameters of feet, not millimeters. Over this time he has accumulated a BA & MSc in Maths. Physics, IT & Optoelectronics, and is a Chartered Physicist, Engineer, Scientist, & MInstP, MIET, & MIPD. He has been producing & maintaining websites for over 8 years, & has run a successful IT & Software Support business for over 5 years. As well as managing e-Ignition’s routine business administration, his exceptional experience of business process analysis and development is applied to help create commercial and strategic growth opportunities for our clients and ourselves.
